Greenlight Communities, LLC is seeking a Senior Real Estate Accountant to prepare timely and accurate financial reporting for the ownership portfolio of 14 apartment communities, reporting to the Controller.

The candidate should have a BS in Accounting, at least five years of accounting experience in real estate or property management, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with QuickBooks; the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Minimum of five years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines with high accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform full-cycle accounting for an ownership portfolio of 14 apartment communities.
• Review and consolidate third-party property management financial statements.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts (bank, loan, A/P, A/R).
• Maintain depreciation and amortization schedules.
• Prepare financial statements and lender reporting packages.
• Prepare and complete weekly check runs and annual 1099 reporting.
• Assist with annual tax preparation and maintain accurate records.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and assist with implementation.
