Job summary

Green Courte Residential Holdings, LLC, based in Clearwater, FL, is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the accounting and monthly close for a portfolio of communities. You will prepare accurate financial statements, investigate discrepancies, reconcile accounts, and support on-site managers.

You will work with corporate leadership, assist in budgeting, participate in audits, and help implement best practices as the company expands.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance or related field.
• Advanced degree and/or CPA strongly preferred but not required.
• Real estate or manufactured housing background is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables & formulas).
• Experience with databases, Power Query, SQL, VBA is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative.
• Good verbal and written communication skills enabling collaboration across teams.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and adapt to changing priorities.
• Willing to travel 1–2 trips per year for training or site visits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial information for an assigned portfolio of communities.
• Collaborate with community managers and accounting team members to handle daily operations, including tenant ledgers and AP.
• Complete monthly closing processes: bank reconciliations, closing entries, and financial reports.
• Prepare and review balance sheets and variance commentary with leadership.
• Assist Operations with annual budget process and external audits.
• Identify process improvements and maintain internal controls.
