Job summary

Peraton in Chantilly, VA is seeking a senior information technology professional to ensure product readiness and to lead verification across hardware and software components before deployments.

You will write test plans, perform operational testing, and collaborate with development, security, and leadership teams to deliver compliant, ready-to-deploy solutions for a national security program.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Customer Technical Operations certification.
• Prior experience and fundamental knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle.
• Product requirements experience.
• Experience in writing test plans.
• Prior product testing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Desired: Some basic knowledge of RF.
• Desired: Previous CONOPS development.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational readiness of products before deployments.
• Execute and support operational testing.
• Conduct research and evaluate performance of customer products and system segments.
• Provide instruction for new team members and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with information assurance and cyber security standards via formal verification methods.
• Participate in design reviews and verify requirements traceability.
• Ensure equipment and documentation are ready before testing.
• Write test plans and ensure testing coverage.
• Review documentation and improve product guides.
• Produce papers, presentations, and findings for senior officials.
• Collaborate with development, test, security, and leadership teams.
• Provide feedback to design engineers and evaluate end-to-end systems.
