Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services, a Westinghouse subsidiary, seeks a formerly licensed Senior Reactor Operator—Nuclear Operations for a contract role at Westinghouse World Headquarters in Cranberry Twp, PA. Remote candidates will be considered.

You will apply reactor-operations knowledge to develop/update control room procedures, validate simulations before training operators, and assist in commissioning new plants worldwide.

Qualifications

• Licensed Senior Reactor Operator with experience in a commercial nuclear plant.
• Strong knowledge of PWR operation and procedures.
• US citizenship or permanent resident status required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update control room operating procedures for normal, abnormal, and emergency conditions.
• Validate scenarios in control room simulators before training operators.
• Support commissioning of new plants and testing of components.
• Write NOPs, AOPs, EOPs, and related operating documents for the fleet.
• Collaborate with designers and licensed operators to ensure safe operation of plants.
• Assist in commissioning of new plants worldwide.
