Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services, a subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, invites experienced nuclear professionals to join a contract Senior Reactor Operator role at Westinghouse World Headquarters in Cranberry Township, PA, with remote options.

You will apply extensive knowledge of EOPs, participate in new plant designs and the AP1000 fleet, and collaborate with global customers to ensure safe, compliant plant operation.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience as a licensed Reactor Operator or SRO instructor.
• Senior Reactor Operator license in past 5 years or active SOP writer in past 5 years.
• Detailed knowledge of PWR operation, systems, components and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update control room operating procedures for normal, abnormal and emergency conditions.
• Validate scenarios in control room simulators and train operators worldwide.
• Scope includes operating fleet and next generation plants (SMR/microreactor).
• Develop test procedures for commissioning new plants (e.g., AP1000).
• Create procedures for Westinghouse eVinci and AP300 designs to ensure safe operation.
• Collaborate with customers and teams to define best and safest plant operation.
