Job summary

Collabera is seeking a Senior UI/UX Frontend Engineer for a 12-month contract with its technology client in New York, NY. This hybrid role offers the chance to shape scalable frontend architecture and improve web experiences for a large audience.

You will collaborate with UX designers, backend engineers, product teams, and others to develop reliable, accessible digital experiences using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in UI/UX engineering, frontend development, or frontend architecture.
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript with modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS preferred).
• Experience building large-scale web apps or high-traffic platforms; reusable component libraries or design systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Build responsive, user-focused interfaces and reusable components across products; manage application state with modern libraries.
• Contribute to design systems, Storybook, and micro-frontend or Module Federation strategies where appropriate.
