Job summary

Disney is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join Team Disney in Orlando on a hybrid schedule. You will build and optimize front-end and back-end components handling large data volumes, collaborating with UX/UI designers and data teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software development, strong React, Python, Django, and AWS experience, plus SQL (PostgreSQL/Snowflake). Bachelor's in CS or equivalent required; Next.js and GitLab CI/CD expertise are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• 5+ years of front-end experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• 2+ years of experience with Python.
• Expertise in React.
• Experience with Django or similar Python web frameworks.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience building pages and services processing large data with databases/data warehouses such as PostgreSQL and Snowflake.
• Required Education: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• This position would be on location (hybrid schedule) in Team Disney, Orlando.
