Job summary

Topstep in the United States is seeking a Mobile Engineer III to lead the mobile app from ground up using React Native, partnering with product and design to deliver a scalable MVP for traders.

You will establish mobile architecture patterns, own features end-to-end from design to App Store/Play Store releases, and embed within cross-functional squads to raise the technical bar and drive mobile excellence at Topstep.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production mobile apps with scalable patterns.
• Deep React Native expertise including navigation and state management.
• Experience shipping to iOS App Store and Google Play Store.
• GraphQL client integration with Apollo or similar.
• Strong PostgreSQL or SQL Server database skills.
• Experience with mobile performance optimization and crash reporting.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the MVP mobile app built in React Native.
• Establish reusable mobile architecture patterns across teams.
• Own mobile features from design to App Store / Play Store release.
• Collaborate with product and design to balance UX and constraints.
• Embed testing, monitoring, and performance improvements across features.
• Maintain mobile engineering standards and code reviews.
