Job summary

Mochi Health in San Francisco is seeking a Senior React Native Engineer to own our mobile apps for patients and providers. You’ll architect offline-first data sync, integrate HealthKit and Google Health Connect, and push OTA updates with Expo.

Join a fast-growing, AI-first team focused on accessible, transparent healthcare, with a base salary range of $230,000 to $280,000 plus equity and benefits. This in-person role requires five days a week at our SF office.

Qualifications

5-7+ years of frontend engineering experience with deep focus on React Native and Expo.
Experience shipping complex mobile apps in production.
Strong collaboration across product, design, and regulatory teams.

Responsibilities

Architect the mobile experience with offline-first data sync and health integrations (HealthKit, Google Health Connect).
Leverage Expo to deliver cross-platform experiences and manage OTA updates with EAS.
Design for offline scenarios and robust caching to ensure access to care plans.
Champion premium mobile UX with focus on performance, accessibility, and transitions.
Integrate AI capabilities into mobile interfaces to support clinical operations.
Set patterns for code reuse across web and mobile platforms and mentor peers.
