Job summary

BRATHON is seeking a Senior React Developer for a long-term contract, hybrid onsite in Atlanta/Alpharetta, GA. You will lead frontend development with React.js, own UI/UX lifecycles, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable web applications.

The role emphasizes performance optimization, testing, and integration with REST/GraphQL, in a fast-paced Agile environment. Hybrid work model with strong ownership of frontend delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience as a Frontend/React Developer.
• Strong hands-on expertise in React.js (Hooks, Functional Components, Custom Hooks).
• Experience with state management libraries: Redux Toolkit, Context API, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and modern styling approaches.
• Experience with React Router for client-side routing.
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress.
• Familiarity with build tools: Webpack, Vite, Babel.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a hybrid setup.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage application state using Redux/Redux Toolkit, Context API, or Zustand.
• Implement responsive, accessible UI designs with UX/design teams.
• Optimize performance with code-splitting, lazy loading, memoization and bundle size management.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Integrate frontend with RESTful APIs / GraphQL endpoints.
• Collaborate with backend, QA, and DevOps in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Maintain and improve component libraries and design systems (Storybook a plus).
