Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer III to join its Corporate Sector AI Solutions & Business Enablement team in New York.

You will design and deliver secure, scalable frontend solutions, collaborating with product, backend, data science, and design teammates to ship high-quality UI experiences. As a React Software Engineer, you will participate in all SDLC phases, drive performance improvements, and ensure accessibility and usability across complex interfaces.

Qualifications

• Hands-on front-end engineer with expertise in React.js and modern JS/TS tooling.
• Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive UI techniques.
• Experience improving memory and performance bottlenecks in web apps.
• Familiarity with Jest/Vitest and React Testing Library for tests.
• Proficiency with CI/CD, Git workflows and agile processes.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms.
• Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new technologies.
• Develops cutting edge Generative AI Interface solutions using React and TypeScript with modern CI standards.
• Collaborates to build custom UI components supporting various workflows.
• Develops tools to streamline development of a large codebase and improve developer experience.
• Leverages operational skills to optimize user experience through product/process improvements.
• Works with Product to design, build and deliver capabilities in agile sprints.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate generative AI into applications and products.
