JPMorganChase in New York, NY seeks a Software Engineer III to join a fast-paced agile team within Consumer and Community Banking. You will design, build, and deliver trusted tech products with secure, scalable code and strong emphasis on quality and accessibility.

Responsibilities include creating production-ready code, architecture artifacts, data visualizations, and driving improvements through data insights and AI-assisted development tools.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts required.
• Strong experience building front-end apps with React/TypeScript.
• Proficient in modern front-end development, state management, responsive UI.
• Hands-on CSS/CSS-in-JS incl. Sass/LESS.
• Experience with accessible components per WCAG.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
• Familiar with Agile/SCRUM workflows.
• Automation and CD methodologies experience.
• Ability to evaluate and guide AI-generated outputs for quality and security.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting beyond routine approaches.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains relevant algorithms.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
• Analyzes large data sets to develop visualizations and reporting.
• Identifies hidden patterns to drive coding hygiene and architecture improvements.
• Contributes to engineering communities and explores new technologies.
