Job summary

Truss is building a modern core platform for a leading US-based MGA and specialty insurer. We are seeking a senior frontend engineer to turn a prototype into production React, maintain a clean design system, and deliver data-heavy interfaces for underwriters and agents.

You will own large forms and dynamic screens, collaborate with backend teams on API contracts, and use AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate delivery. Remote-friendly, with opportunities across the US market.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience.
• 3+ years in React and TypeScript.
• Experience with production React apps and design systems.
• Proficient with REST APIs and modern UI patterns.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Turn the prototype into production React, preserving the design system as it grows.
• Build complex, stateful forms with validation, prefill, and saved progress.
• Create dense data screens for policy records, billing, and queues.
• Develop three app views: agent portal, staff workspace, insured self-service.
• Collaborate with backend on API contracts and iterate from client feedback.
