Job summary

Texas Dental and Braces PLLC in Kyle, Texas, is seeking a Tier 2 Registered Dental Assistant to join a growing practice. The role emphasizes ownership, strong clinical skills in the operatory, and contributing to patient care excellence.

Pay ranges from $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, with part-time and full-time opportunities. Full-time staff may access medical, vision, life insurance, PTO, a 401(k), and in-house dental benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RDA certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Three to five years of dental assisting experience.
• Experience creating temporary crowns and bridges.
• Strong chairside skills across a variety of procedures.
• Knowledge of radiographs, sterilization, infection control, and clinical documentation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to take initiative and lead by example.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.
• Experience with orthodontics, Invisalign, dental implants, or iTero scanners is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and trays.
• Take dental radiographs and maintain accurate patient records.
• Assist with temporary crowns and bridges, crown deliveries, nightguards, bleaching, and suture removals.
• Educate patients and reinforce treatment recommendations.
• Complete lab scripts, track cases, and maintain supply inventory.
• Support sterilization, infection control, equipment maintenance, and emergency readiness.
• Assist with scheduling, daily clinical checklists, and end-of-day procedures.
• Train and support newer dental assistants.
