Job summary

San Marcos Dental and Braces is seeking a Tier II RDA to own the operatory and support comprehensive patient care. This hands-on role requires moving between chairside assisting, treatment preparation, lab coordination, and clinical documentation while contributing to a strong clinical team.

Full-time position with a schedule of over 30 hours per week, Monday through Saturday, with Saturday availability required. Competitive hourly pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• RDA Tier II certification or state license (as applicable)
• Experience in chairside assisting and dental lab coordination
• Accurate patient records and treatment documentation

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient chairside assistance during dental procedures
• Prepare operatories, instruments, materials, and treatment trays
• Assist with temporary crowns and bridges, crown deliveries, nightguards, bleaching, and suture removals
• Take diagnostic X-rays and maintain complete, accurate patient records
• Complete treatment documentation, lab scripts, and case tracking
• Reinforce treatment recommendations and help patients understand their care
• Support appointment scheduling, re-care coordination, and daily clinical workflow
• Maintain equipment, inventory, sterilization, and emergency supplies
• Assist with end-of-day procedures and clinical checklists
• Help train and support newer dental assistants

San Marcos Dental and Braces is seeking a Tier II RDA who is ready to take ownership of the operatory, support comprehensive patient care, and contribute their experience to a strong clinical team. This is a hands‑on role for an RDA who can move comfortably between chairside assisting, treatment preparation, lab coordination, clinical documentation, and supporting newer assistants.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule: Full‑time, more than 30 hours per week. Flexible scheduling based on your availability. Monday through Saturday, with Saturday availability required.
