Job summary

Texas Dental and Braces PLLC is seeking a Tier II Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to take ownership of the operatory, support comprehensive patient care, and contribute to a strong clinical team at Potranco Dental and Braces.

This full-time role requires 2–5 years of dental assisting experience, Texas RDA certification, and BLS. The position offers medical, vision, life insurance, PTO, a 401(k), and in-house dental benefits.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of dental assisting experience.
• Strong chairside skills and knowledge of dental instruments.
• Excellent clinical documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient chairside assistance during dental procedures
• Prepare operatories, instruments, materials, and treatment trays
• Assist with temporary crowns and bridges, crown deliveries, nightguards, bleaching, and suture removals
• Take diagnostic X-rays and maintain complete, accurate patient records
• Complete treatment documentation, lab scripts, and case tracking
• Reinforce treatment recommendations and help patients understand their care
• Support appointment scheduling, re-care coordination, and daily clinical workflow
• Maintain equipment, inventory, sterilization, and emergency supplies
• Assist with end-of-day procedures and clinical checklists
• Help train and support newer dental assistants

Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - Tier II

PotrancoDental and Braces is seeking a Tier II RDA who is ready to take ownership of the operatory, support comprehensive patient care, and contribute their experience to a strong clinical team. This is a hands‑on role for an RDA who can move comfortably between chairside assisting, treatment preparation, lab coordination, clinical documentation, and supporting newer assistants.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, more than 30 hours per week.

Position GP Registered Dental Assistant Tier 2

Position Requirements

What you bring:

• Current Texas RDA certification
• Current BLS certification
• Two to five years of dental assisting experience
• Experience creating temporary crowns and bridges
• Strong chairside skills and knowledge of dental instruments and procedures
• Excellent clinical documentation, communication, and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred
• Experience with orthodontics, Invisalign, dental implants, or iTero scanners is a plus.
