Western Alliance Bank, a national financial services provider, is seeking a First Line Risk & Control RCSA Manager in CityScape, Phoenix. The role focuses on supporting and executing risk programs, collaborating with business units to manage risks and controls across all risk types, and ensuring adherence to risk policies.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of risk/controls experience, a bachelor’s degree, leadership skills, and deep knowledge of banking operations and regulatory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of related experience or similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Leadership experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Advanced experience in Compliance, Operations Management, Audit, Risk Management, or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of and experience in documenting process maps in process mapping software.

Aufgaben

• Engage with business units to manage risks and controls across all risk types.
• Monitor execution of risk policies and program requirements.
• Support and guide risk conversations with subject matter experts including third parties/vendors and regulatory matters.
• Draft risks and controls in line with standard.
• Guide assessment of control environment and determine effective mitigations or gaps.
• Maintain documentation per procedures and standards for risk & control inventory and RCSA activities.
• Conduct/oversee meetings with clear objectives and follow-up items.
