Job summary

Ensora Health is seeking an detail-oriented RCM Specialist II to join our Revenue Cycle Management team, focusing on claims submission, denial management, and account resolution for behavioral health providers.

In this role you’ll work cross-functionally with clinicians and practice owners, leverage analytics, and continuously improve processes to drive timely payments and positive financial outcomes for our customers.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of medical billing or revenue cycle management experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service, account management, or client-facing experience.
• Strong understanding of insurance billing, behavioral health billing, and therapy reimbursement processes.
• Working knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle, including claims submission, payment posting, denial management, appeals, and accounts receivable follow-up.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and identify effective solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with billing systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Submit, review, correct, and process denied, rejected, and unpaid claims with accuracy and timely resolution.
• Research and resolve claim issues by identifying root causes and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Prioritize and manage a high-volume workload based on claim age, complexity, customer impact, and urgency.
• Own the accounts receivable process for assigned accounts, using analytics and reviews to monitor performance.
• Partner closely with clinicians, practice owners, and customers for proactive account management and exceptional service.
• Build trusted relationships through regular meetings and ongoing communication.
• Identify trends, denials, and reimbursement challenges; recommend process improvements.
• Use technology and tools to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
• Collaborate with Leads and Managers to share knowledge and drive continuous improvement.
• Stay current on payer requirements and revenue cycle best practices to support success.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
