Job summary

OneOncology is seeking a Senior Manager, RCM to lead revenue cycle management operations across multiple practices, leveraging analytics to optimize workflows and minimize financial risk.

You will manage RCM teams, partner with Directors and VP, ensure timely billing, denial management, and A/R performance, and drive policy improvements.

This remote role requires 3+ years in healthcare RCM leadership, a bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills; oncology experience a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in relevant healthcare and RCM leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Coding certification preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Background in managed care payer market.
• Oncology or clinic experience a plus.
• Travel as needed for business need.
• Flatiron OncoEMR proficiency desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work with Directors and VP to coordinate delivery of high-quality RCM services.
• Communicate timely to leadership to optimize RCM functions and minimize financial risk.
• Manage teams of RCM staff, supervisors, and managers.
• Oversee daily operations across RCM service lines: patient access, verification, authorizations, coding & billing, A/R, patient financial services.
• Monitor metrics, denial trends, and days in A/R; develop improvement plans.
• Summarize KPIs for leadership review across clinics.
• Oversee policy development, process improvement, and staff training.
• Collaborate with payer partners to resolve issues and ensure seamless patient/provider experiences.
• Support onboarding new clinics/providers into RCM workflows.
• Escalation point for complex reimbursement and payer concerns.
• Contribute to strategic RCM initiatives and compliance with coding/billing guidelines.
