Job summary

Global World Technology, LLC seeks a highly skilled RCDD Engineer to join our team onsite in Washington, DC. The role emphasizes hardware design, structured cabling, and telecommunications infrastructure with client-facing responsibilities.

The candidate should hold an RCDD certification, possess a Secret clearance, and have at least five years of related hardware engineering experience, including layout and design for voice, data, and cabling systems.

Qualifications

• Secret Clearance is required.
• Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Certification is required.
• Experience in RCDD cost estimation is highly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of hardware engineering experience.
• At least 5RCDD RD years of experience in layout and design for technology systems (voice, data, cabling).
• Expertise in NEC, IEEE, EIA, TIA and related codes; strong knowledge of Structured Cabling Systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct design, development and testing of information processing hardware components.
• Design new products and modify existing ones to meet client specs and standards.
• Develop technical specifications for production and ensure compliance.
• Analyze hardware configurations to optimize performance.
• Test hardware to verify performance.
• Provide guidance and leadership to junior engineers and possibly supervise.
• Interface with clients in meetings to understand and meet needs.
• Stay updated on technologies and industry standards.
• Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
