GDIT seeks an experienced RCDD engineer to maintain and design Inside Plant cabling for the JSP ETM – NG program at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. This is an onsite role; telecommuting is not allowed and you will report full-time onsite.

Requires Active Secret clearance, a High School Diploma, and 3+ years in layout and design for voice, data, and structured cabling. You must be well-versed in NEC/IEEE/EIA/TIA standards, proficient with Excel and floorplan tools, and prepared for 24/7 breakfix

Qualifications

• 3+ years developing layout and design for technology systems including voice, data, and structured cabling.
• Must be well versed in NEC, IEEE, EIA, TIA, industry standards related to IT, low voltage and telecommunications systems.

Responsabilités

• Maintain Inside Plant cable infrastructure across the Pentagon, Mark Center, and NCR facilities.
• Develop EIPs for installation of cable racks and testing during installation.
• Perform 24/7/365 breakfix on Inside Plant cabling within JSP purview.
