Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an RCDD Engineer to join the JSP ETM - NG program at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. Telecommuting is not allowed; the role requires full-time onsite work and an active Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities include maintaining the Inside Plant cable infrastructure and ensuring compliance with BICSI, NEC, IEEE and related standards. You will perform on-site surveys, develop maintenance plans, and execute 24/7 breakfix across multiple facilities

Qualifications

• Must hold BICSI RCDD certification or equivalent.
• 8+ years of related experience in layout and design for IT/cabling.
• Experience with voice, data and structured cabling systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Inside Plant cable infrastructure across Pentagon and NCR facilities.
• Follow JSP and industry standards; prepare EIPs and installation plans.
• Provide 24/7/365 breakfix and on-site surveys for cabling systems.
