Job summary

GovSG in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Range Safety Flight & Termination Analyst/Engineer to support the Targets Program Office. You will develop and verify flight termination system and range safety requirements, assist with GFE/CFE hardware and software development, integration and checkout, and compile detailed status reports.

The role requires top-tier defense experience, active security clearance, and the ability to work independently or lead teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree and 12+ years DoD program experience, or Bachelor's degree and 20+ years.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• Independent work capability and ability to lead teams.
• Familiarity with Range Safety Requirements and Flight Termination.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Range Safety expert during flight tests and related groups.
• Oversee development, allocation and verification for flight termination system products.
• Provide status, findings and recommendations in reports.
• Represent customer interests in Working Groups and Interchange Meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
