Job summary

Raytheon in Portsmouth, RI is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to join the Life Cycle Engineering team. You will develop reliability and maintainability analyses and models to ensure our products are reliable and sustainable through their life cycle.

Responsibilities include RAM analyses, FMECA/FDFI, RAM requirements definition, MTBF/MTBCF tracking, and FRACAS investigations. Travel up to 10% and interfacing with program teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Reliability, Maintainability, Failure Analysis and/or Electrical Design.

Responsibilities

• Perform RAM analyses and availability/maintainability predictions.
• Conduct FMECA and FDFI analyses; allocate RAM requirements.
• Assess RAM performance metrics: MTBF, MTBCF, Ao.
• Maintain RAM diagrams and system models; interpret data.
• Perform FRACAS tasks and present findings at reviews.
• Support BOEs for RAM in proposals; track EV and budgets.
• Travel up to 10% as required.
