Job summary

RTX in Portsmouth, RI joins Raytheon’s SE&TC Surface Radars & Sensors Center as a Principal Reliability Engineer. You will develop reliability analyses and models to ensure our products are safe, reliable, and maintainable throughout their life cycles.

The role requires 8+ years of experience in RAM/FRACAS methods, strong analytical skills, and the ability to present complex technical material to diverse audiences. Onsite work with travel and competitive RTX benefits.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with RAM, FMECA/FDFI, and reliability analyses.
• Knowledge of MTBF/MTBCF, Ao and probabilistic risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct RAM analyses, reliability predictions and maintainability analyses.
• Perform FMECA/FDFI analyses and develop RAM requirements.
• Maintain RAM performance metrics: MTBF, MTBCF, Ao and system models.
• Lead FRACAS tasks, trend analysis, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Support RAM-related Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and project schedules.
