Job summary

Hatch Ltd. is hiring a Senior Rail Vehicle Electrical Engineer to support rail transit agencies in the procurement of rail vehicles and ensure software quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in software engineering, a relevant degree, and excellent communication skills.

You will lead projects, establish requirements, develop technical specifications, and mentor engineers. Knowledge of rail systems and industry standards is a plus. This role is based in Ambler, PA.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience in software engineering, computer programming, or related fields.
• Desirable: EIT/PE certification.
• Experience with rail transit industry and rail vehicle procurements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support rail transit agencies in procurement and technical design reviews.
• Develop technical specifications for rail vehicle software.
• Analyze and apply software standards to procurements.
• Conduct Software Quality Assurance Audits at supplier sites.
