Egis is seeking a Resident Engineer - Rail & Transit in Lisle, IL with a track record of delivering rail/transit projects. You will lead projects through all phases, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• PE license required.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• 10+ years of resident engineering experience managing rail/transit construction projects.
• Strong understanding of stations, facilities, rail systems, including communications, train control, OCS, traction power, and electrical design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage rail/transit projects from pre-construction through commissioning.
• Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and regulators to meet goals.
• Define scope, objectives, and deliverables; ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
• Oversee quality control, mitigate risks, and manage project budgets and schedules.
