Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Track & Civil Engineer to support track and civil infrastructure design and delivery for the California High-Speed Rail program. The role requires leadership, independent judgment, and cross-disciplinary coordination with stakeholders and contractors.

Responsibilities include design reviews, construction support, and ensuring compliance with CHSR and applicable standards (AREMA, FRA). Sponsorship and relocation are provided where indicated.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Preferred: PE license in civil engineering with rail focus.
• Familiarity with AREMA, FRA standards, and public works guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform design reviews of track and civil works for CHSR compliance.
• Coordinate interfaces between track, structures, signaling, and utilities.
• Provide construction support, field issue resolution, and risk mitigation.
• Prepare technical memos and track/report on issues and resolutions.
