Job summary

Hatch is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager – Rail Systems to join our North American Infrastructure group in Seattle, WA. You will manage rail systems design or design oversight teams on transit rail projects, coordinating with Hatch's global rail systems practice.

The ideal candidate has 20+ years in rail systems design and management, a professional engineering license (highly preferred), and deep experience with signaling, train control, CBTC/ATO/PTC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Professional engineering license is preferred.
• 20+ years of rail systems design and/or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide design and technical integration leadership for large-scale rail infrastructure projects.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineering professionals, including staff, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Manage project production, changes, client relations, and financials to ensure quality, client satisfaction, and profitability.
• Offer industry guidance by presenting to industry groups, chairing committees, or contributing to standards development.
• Assist in pursuits, client relationship building, and recruitment in rail and rail systems areas.
