Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects seeks a Rail Project Manager to lead freight rail, track, terminal, intermodal, industrial rail, and related civil infrastructure projects from concept development through final design and construction support.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality while mentoring engineers, EITs, and junior staff. Travel and client leadership are essential in coordinating with Class I and regional rail clients and agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• 10+ years in rail or related civil infrastructure.
• Experience leading project teams and client coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of freight rail and related civil/site infrastructure projects.
• Define and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, work plans, staffing, and deliverables.
• Serve as primary contact for railroads, agencies, and stakeholders; coordinate subconsultants.
