Job summary

A global leader in rail transportation is seeking Construction Managers / Resident Engineers (Civil) for rail mass transit projects in New York City. The role involves supervising field activities, supporting project management, and ensuring compliance with construction contracts. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in rail transit, and possess strong communication skills. Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of relevant engineering experience.
• Prior field experience on rail mass transit projects.
• Familiarity with NYCT Station Improvement projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of the field inspection personnel.
• Act as the second-in-command supporting the Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with the construction contract requirements.
• Communicate regularly with the owner’s representatives regarding project matters.
• Review contractor submittals, including RFI’s and test procedures.
• Attend meetings with client Engineering and Project Management Personnel.
• Assist in the timely resolution of project issues.
