The role involves supervising field activities, supporting project management, and ensuring compliance with construction contracts. Qualifications
Minimum ten (10) years of relevant engineering experience.
Prior field experience on rail mass transit projects.
Familiarity with NYCT Station Improvement projects is preferred.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily activities of the field inspection personnel.
Act as the second-in-command supporting the Project Manager.
Ensure compliance with the construction contract requirements.
Communicate regularly with the owner’s representatives regarding project matters.
Review contractor submittals, including RFI’s and test procedures.
Attend meetings with client Engineering and Project Management Personnel.
Assist in the timely resolution of project issues.
