Qualifications

• 10+ years combined education and/or experience in construction project management, rail, and/or bridge inspections.
• Progressive career development with leadership of project/task teams for contractors/owners/designers.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, cost estimation, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track multiple project activities across projects; determine staffing requirements.
• Act as liaison between Owner and General Contractors on multi-disciplinary projects, including site inspections.
• Plan, organize, coordinate, direct, and manage multi-disciplinary work efforts.
• Oversee validation of products and materials for conformance to specs.
• Monitor construction performance; record activities to ensure compliance with docs.
• Inspect work in progress for conformance to standards and specs.
• Maintain project documentation: status reports, schedules, RFIs, change orders; process and incorporate changes.
• Lead regular construction meetings; provide agendas and minutes.
• Train and provide technical guidance to Construction Inspectors and team members.
• Review punchlists and confirm completion before substantial completion.
• Maintain awareness of federal/state/local construction laws and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with Area Safety Officer to uphold safety standards on-site.
• Provide customer service and professional communication with stakeholders.
• Perform admin duties; maintain timesheets and certifications.
• Participate in company activities and meetings.
