MBP (McDonough Bolyard Peck) seeks a Transportation Construction Manager to lead complex roads, bridges and infrastructure projects in the Virginia Beach area. You will coordinate project teams, guide inspectors, and serve as the primary liaison among owners, contractors, and stakeholders to keep schedules and budgets on track.

With extensive field experience and strong leadership, you will drive safety, quality, and compliance while mentoring inspectors and contributing to business development

Formación

• Extensive construction management experience on roads, bridges and infrastructure.
• Progressive career development with leadership of project or task teams.
• Scheduling, cost estimating, documentation, contract administration and construction techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and manage multi-project activities with staffing needs.
• Serve as liaison between Owner and General Contractors on construction projects.
• Plan, organize, direct and manage multi-disciplinary work and ensure conformance to specs.
• Monitor construction performance and verify documentation compliance.
• Inspect work and ensure methods, materials, and equipment meet standards.
• Maintain project docs, lead meetings, review shop drawings and RFIs, and manage change orders.
• Provide training and guidance to Construction Inspectors.
• Support business development and participate in short-list presentations.
