Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required.
At least 10 years of bridge design experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license recognized for the location.
Proven leadership and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
Experience with railroad design guidelines and industry standards.

Responsibilities

Serve as Discipline or Task Lead for railroad bridge/structural engineering projects.
Support Project Managers in marketing and contracting activities.
Manage scope, budget, and schedule; develop design criteria and cost estimates.
Perform rail bridge analysis and design planning for rail projects.
Lead QC reviews of projects and ensure technical excellence.
Engage in client and stakeholder visits and site inspections as needed.
Represent HDR at industry events and mentor junior staff.
