Job summary

Mariana Oncology is seeking an experienced Radiochemist to advance our radiopharmacology program and personalized medicine initiatives. The role focuses on developing radiolabeling methods, supporting preclinical studies, and presenting findings to project teams.

The candidate will lead radiochemistry efforts, interact with CROs, and contribute to document preparation and research meetings within a collaborative, regulated environment in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field with 2–5+ years of experience; MS with 1+ year; PhD in a relevant field.
• Background in chemistry/radiochemistry.
• Interest/experience in pharmacology and/or PK research.
• Strong technical writing and oral communication abilities.
• Radiopharmaceutical experience is desired; training available.
• Ability to work with computers and software applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a small team and take on significant responsibilities during daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other functions to identify studies to drive product advancement.
• Perform radiolabeling, product analysis, and stability assessments.
• Design and optimize radiolabeling methods for new agents to support preclinical studies.
• Follow SOPs, guidelines and policies in a highly regulated environment.
• Accurately label samples, track collection, and maintain records.
• Present data to target teams and contribute to written reports.
• Execute in vivo studies (biodistribution, efficacy, imaging) as needed.
• Engage with CROs and external collaborators as needed.
