Job summary

Mariana Oncology is seeking a Senior Scientist I for CMC Analytical Development to advance analytical method development for radiopharmaceuticals. You will drive identification, purification, and quantification methods across LC-MS, HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, and gamma spectroscopy while ensuring data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Radiochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field (0+ years in CMC analytical development) or BS/MS with 4–6+ years industry experience.
• Experience with GMP, GLP, ICH guidelines; radiopharmaceuticals preferred.
• Proficiency with HPLC, iTLC, LC-MS, ICP-MS, GC, gamma spectroscopy.
• Strong problem solving, attention to detail, and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute analytical testing on drug substances and radioactive drug products using HPLC, LC-MS, ICP-MS, GC, TLC and gamma spectroscopy.
• Troubleshoot methods, investigate unexpected results, and resolve root causes to ensure reliable data.
• Support method development, qualification, transfer, and regulatory documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with process development, radiochemistry, quality, and regulatory teams.
