Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center in Renton, WA seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and lead daily workflow in the imaging department, ensuring quality, safety and regulatory standards are met. Required: AMA-approved radiologic technology training, WA Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT certification, BLS, and at least 2 years in radiology with increasing responsibility.

EPIC/Radiant experience and leadership/training are preferred.

Description

Performs Diagnostic imaging exams and radiology tasks. Provides leadership and direction of day to day processes and workflow of the technical areas utilizing effective communication skills with the imaging team. Ensures the department quality standards, safety and compliance and regulatory requirements are met on a daily basis. Assist in the orientation of new caregivers, clinical, technologists and radiology students.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school.
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologies
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 2 years experience working in a Radiology type role with increasing levels of responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

• EPIC/Radiant experience.
• 1 year experience demonstrating leadership/training in the medical field.
