Job summary

Providence radiology department seeks an experienced radiologic technologist to perform fluoroscopy, plain films, portable x-ray and c-arm operations across various sites. You will support complex imaging studies and ensure patient safety during procedures.

The role requires completion of a formal radiological technology program, a Washington license, ARRT certification, BLS, and at least two years of professional radiologic experience (excluding student training).

Qualifications

  • Completion of a formal radiological technology program.
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist license (upon hire).
  • ARRT certification (upon hire).
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire).
  • At least 2 years as a radiological technologist (not including student training).

  • Conduct procedures such as barium studies, arthrography, myelography, and fluoroscopic guidance for invasive procedures.

Job description

Overview

Performs a variety of technical procedures to include fluoroscopy and plain films as well as portable x-ray and c-arm operations in various locales. Examples of these procedures include but are not limited to barium studies, arthrography, myelography, fluoroscopic guidance for invasive procedures, etc. Provides appropriate care to patients and assures their safety from a physical and clinical perspective.

  • National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (upon hire).
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (upon hire).
  • At least 2 years as a radiological technologist (not including student training).
