Job summary

Providence St. Peter Hospital in Washington is hiring a Registered Radiologic Technologist to perform radiology procedures and support radiologists. You'll set up exams, operate imaging equipment, and help ensure quality care for patients in a fast-paced department.

Job description

Provides quality care to patients. Performs Radiology exams proficiently to provide Radiologists with accurate information to reach an interpretation. Brings areas of improvement to the attention of Management. The Registered Radiological Technologist is responsible for radiological procedures, assisting radiologist, and radiographic equipment operations as outlined in the job's position description.

Typical responsibilities include setting up and conducting radiological procedures, performing quality control and reporting tasks, and participating in the growth and development of the DI department and contributing ideas.

Qualifications
  • Required Qualifications: Two years community college/vocational training in an accredited radiological technologist training program., Or equivalent education/experienceUpon hire: Washington Radiologic TechnologistUpon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsUpon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association2 years Clinical experience in Radiologic Technology, or equivalent.
  • Preferred Qualifications: 6 months CT scanning experience (Toshiba equipment preferred for CT).Hospital experience.
Pay Range

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Pay Range: $41.63 - $64.63.
