Responsibilities

• Verifies physician order and procedure to ensure accuracy.
• Uses radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Operates imaging equipment independently according to protocol.
• Reviews patient images for diagnostic quality.
• Leads safety and quality initiatives within the department.
• Assists in training junior staff and provides feedback.
