Job summary

East Greenbush Medical Imaging, an affiliate of St. Peter's Health Partners, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a full-time day shift.

The role performs diagnostic exams and bone densitometry, with emphasis on direct patient care and collaborative teamwork. Ideal candidates hold an AAS in Radiologic Technology, ARRT registration and NYS license or eligibility, and have at least 2 years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• Current ARRT registration and NYS license required or eligible.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provides timely, patient education to enhance the patient experience and cooperation.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment by following safety policies and using appropriate equipment.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, work and public areas in a neat and organized manner.
• Supervises and guides students in a positive, progressively educational manner.
• Demonstrates proficiency in image processing/archiving and electronic image management devices (PACS/Synapse, PACS Cube, Powerscribe, V-Rad, EPIC).
• Independently performs Bone Densitometry exams and works toward ARRT Bone Density registration within 1 year of start date.
• Assumes added responsibilities such as ordering supplies or Student Clinical Supervisor role.

Education

AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology

Current ARRT registration and NYS license required or Eligible

Two years of clinical experience preferred
