Job summary

East Greenbush Medical Imaging, a part of St. Peter's Health Partners, is seeking a Sr. Radiology Technologist for a full-time day shift.

You will perform diagnostic radiology and bone densitometry, with 80% direct patient care and 20% clerical/QA duties, under radiologist supervision. Requirements include an AAS in Radiologic Technology, ARRT registration and NYS license (or eligibility), at least 2 years of clinical experience, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Requires AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Current ARRT registration and NYS license or eligibility.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient and family education to enhance experience.
• Maintain safe, clean environment and adhere to safety policies.
• Maintain equipment and manage supplies and areas.
• Supervise and guide students in a positive manner.
• Utilize image processing/archiving systems (PACS/Synapse, PACS Cube, Powerscribe, V-Rad, EPIC).
• Perform Bone Densitometry exams and pursue ARRT Bone Density registration within 1 year.
