Job summary

RayzeBio is seeking a Sr. Associate Scientist, Radiochemistry in San Diego to conduct radiochemical research, radiolabeling diagnostic and therapeutic isotopes, and quality testing for in vitro and in vivo work.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advance RayzeBio’s radiochemistry programs. The role requires hands-on radiochemistry experience, method development, and a strong commitment to safety in a lab with radioactive materials, with opportunities to contribute to

Qualifications

• BS with 3+ years in Radiochemistry or related field, or MS with 1+ year in Radiochemistry.
• Proper radiation safety practices in radiosynthesis and related operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop radiochemistry methods using radioisotopes (Lu-177, Ac-225, Cu-64, Ga-68).
• Characterize radiolabeled compounds using radio-HPLC and radio-TLC.
• Synthesize radiotracers on automated synthesis devices.
• Work independently and troubleshoot as needed.
• Present progress at meetings to advance programs.
• Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment.
