Job summary

ChristianaCare in Newark, Delaware, is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our Radiation Oncology team. You will deliver radiation treatments and CT simulations safely and according to the prescribed plan, and you will conduct patient setup, imaging, treatment verification, and documentation.

The role involves working with CT Simulation, HDR, SBRT, ETHOS, and CyberKnife, managing workflow and scheduling, monitoring patients, and coordinating follow-up with the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiation Therapy Program or equivalent training.
• Minimum 3 years Radiation Therapy experience.
• ARRT board certification or board eligible.
• State licensure required.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with linear accelerators (Elekta/Varian).
• Experience with MOSAIQ/ARIA EMR systems.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver treatments and CT simulations per prescribed plan.
• Patient setup, positioning, imaging, treatment verification, and documentation.
• Work with CT Simulation, HDR, SBRT, ETHOS, and CyberKnife.
• Independently manage treatment-machine workflow and scheduling.
• Monitor patients during treatment and coordinate follow-up with care team.
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and others.
• Mentor Radiation Therapists and support clinical education of students.
• Help introduce and advance new technologies and best practices.
