Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an Accredited Radiation Therapy Program or other allied health profession or possess equivalent training.
• Minimum Three (3) years Radiation Therapy experience.
• Completion of formal clinical experience in radiation therapy.
• Board certification in Radiation Therapy Technology (ARRT) or board eligible.
• State Licensure.
• Certification in BLS.
• Experience with linear accelerators, including Elekta and/or Varian.
• Experience with Radiation Oncology EMR systems such as MOSAIQ and/or ARIA.
• Strong commitment to radiation safety, accuracy, compassionate patient care, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation treatments and CT simulations safely and accurately according to the Radiation Oncologist's prescribed treatment plan.
• Perform patient setup, positioning, imaging, treatment verification, safety checks, and documentation.
• Work with advanced treatment modalities and technologies, including CT Simulation, HDR, SBRT, ETHOS, and CyberKnife.
• Independently manage treatment-machine workflow, patient scheduling, and unexpected operational issues.
• Monitor patients throughout treatment, assess tolerance, and coordinate appropriate follow-up with the care team.
• Collaborate closely with Radiation Oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and other members of the Radiation Oncology team.
• Mentor Radiation Therapists and support the clinical education of Radiation Therapy students.
• Help introduce and advance new technologies and best practices within the department.
