Soliant is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to deliver patient-centered radiation therapy in a dynamic oncology setting in California. You will join a multidisciplinary team, ensure safe and effective treatments, and operate advanced radiation therapy equipment.

The role emphasizes precise treatment delivery, strict safety protocols, and ongoing professional development within a state-of-the-art facility. Open to qualified contract candidates with ARRT and CPR/BLS credentials.

Qualifications

• Valid and current certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT or equivalent).
• Experience operating linear accelerators and simulation equipment.
• Thorough understanding of radiation safety procedures and QA protocols.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to interpret and execute physician treatment plans.
• Compliance with regulatory standards.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed doses of radiation to patients as directed by protocols and physician instructions.
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for daily procedures.
• Monitor patient responses and document treatment details in electronic medical records.
• Provide education, support, and reassurance to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with physicians, physicists, and dosimetrists to optimize treatment planning and delivery.
• Maintain infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives.
