Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions in California seeks a compassionate Radiation Therapist to administer prescribed radiation treatments under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist. You will operate therapy equipment, ensure accurate treatment delivery, and maintain thorough treatment records with strict safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have a radiologic technology background with ARRT/TRT credentials; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in radiation therapy or radiologic technology preferred.
• ARRT Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T) certification required.
• TRT certification required.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely according to physician orders.
• Prepare patients and treatment equipment for radiation therapy procedures.
• Position and immobilize patients to ensure precise treatment delivery.
• Monitor patients during treatment and report any adverse reactions or complications.
• Maintain accurate treatment records, patient documentation, and quality assurance data.
• Follow radiation safety standards and infection control policies to protect patients and staff.
• Educate patients on treatment procedures and provide compassionate support throughout their care.
• Assist with equipment quality control and routine maintenance.
• Support the training and clinical supervision of students and new staff as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
