• Registered in radiation therapy by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Maryland licensure as Radiation Therapist.
• CPR certification (Heart Saver).

Responsibilities

• Reviews patients' treatment charts for prescription, monitor units, prescribed dose and setup parameters.
• Delivers radiation treatment according to written prescription and treatment plan.
• Explains treatment procedures to patient and/or family; monitors comfort and safety.
• Maintains accurate record of procedures including billing information and codes.
• Performs on-call coverage for treatment of emergency patients and supports QA activities.
