Draper's contested environment Integration and Test (I&T) group is looking for a senior test engineer with experience testing in both space and strategic radiation environments (and effects) including:
The candidate should be well versed in test definition, planning, preparation, execution, and reporting. The candidate should have experience working with leading test teams, a variety of test instrumentation, field testing, working with analog or digital devices, exposure to developing hardware control software. Experience with circuit board design is also desirable.
The role will require working with and leading one or more teams in helping programs evaluate, refine, and validate components and hardware designs intended to operate in extremely challenging environments. An ability to support some amount of travel and work out of the Draper Cambridge, MA office are also required.
Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
Requires 7-10 years in Systems Engineering or relevant role.
Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Candidates are expected to work primarily out of Draper's Cambridge, MA office.
Travel to support testing and other efforts will be required for this position. Less than 25% in a given year is expected.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000.00 - $245,000.00.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Union ranges will be in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement's approved rates by location and role.
