Job summary

Constellation is seeking a Health Physics professional to implement station technical programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and perform technical evaluations. You will manage dosimetry, instrumentation, and related health physics processes, coordinating with regulatory bodies and internal teams.

The role emphasizes learning and applying changes in Health Physics regulations, while delivering clear communications and supporting outage activities across the fleet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health physics or related science with 4 years of experience in applied Radiation Protection.
• Senior Reactor Operator license with 5 years of applied Radiation Protection experience.
• Associate's degree in health physics or related science with 6 years of applied Radiation Protection experience.
• High school diploma or GED with 7 years of experience in applied Radiation Protection.
• Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access and pass medical examination as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Track Radiation Protection metrics and generate corrective actions to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Benchmark and improve programs with fleet peers for cost, execution, and standardization.
• Perform assessments and technical calculations for program fidelity per 10 CFR20 and related regulations.
• Develop and deliver training to improve department performance.
• Represent Radiation Protection in meetings with Nuclear Oversight and regulators.
• Conduct field observations to ensure standards of performance are met.
• Communicate effectively in oral and written form to diverse audiences.
• Support outage activities and other duties as directed by management.
